Important:

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (e.g. health, political views). Please do not include this in submissions.

  • Personalise your experience, adjust difficulty and progression, and tailor feedback and insights

  • Process your work through structured AI evaluation systems

  • Improve the Platform by using anonymised and aggregated data to refine systems

  • Communicate with you

  • Enforce our Terms of Use and protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access.

  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

Important

We do not use your data for fully automated decisions that have legal or significant effects. AI evaluations are guidance tools, not binding decisions.

Hourze uses AI-supported systems to evaluate submissions.

When you submit work:

  • Your content is processed to generate structured evaluations

  • We minimise the use of direct identifiers wherever possible

  • AI outputs are probabilistic

  • Evaluations are not certifications

  • Results should be used as guidance

We may use trusted third-party providers to support this processing under strict data protection agreements.

We do not sell your personal data.

Anonymised data may be retained longer as it no longer identifies you.

If data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g. contractual protections), and ensure compliance with applicable laws
