At a glance

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Hourze.

If you use the Platform on behalf of a company, organisation, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and “you” includes that entity.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will provide notice by email or a prominent in-app notice. Your continued use of the Platform after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

You must be at least 18 years old to use Hourze.

When you create an account, you agree to provide information that is accurate, current, and complete, and to keep it updated.

You are responsible for:

  • safeguarding your login credentials

  • all activity that occurs under your account

  • notifying us promptly of any unauthorised access or security issue

We may suspend or terminate accounts that are false, misleading, compromised, or used in violation of these Terms.

2. Eligibility and account registration

Hourze is a professional capability and proof platform. It is designed to help users develop, demonstrate, and organise evidence of capability through structured assessments, evaluations, and Proof Profiles.

You may use the Platform only for lawful personal, professional, or internal business purposes.

You must not use the Platform to:

  • misrepresent your identity, experience, or capability

  • submit false, misleading, or fraudulent work

  • use bots, scripts, or automation to manipulate outcomes

  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract proprietary systems, logic, or models

  • access or use the Platform in a way that interferes with security, stability, or other users

  • use the Platform or its outputs to train or improve competing systems without our written permission

Your Proof Profile must reflect genuine capability. Deliberate misrepresentation is a material breach of these Terms.

3. Purpose of the Platform and permitted use

Hourze uses AI systems and other evaluation methods to assess submissions against structured criteria and rubrics.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that:

  • AI outputs are probabilistic and may not always be accurate, complete, or consistent

  • evaluations are intended to support learning, development, and capability visibility

  • evaluations are not certified qualifications, professional licences, or guarantees of employment, promotion, funding, or other outcomes

You should not rely solely on Platform outputs for high-stakes decisions.

Hourze is not a certification body. The Platform is a system for documenting and evaluating capability over time.

To operate the Platform, we may use third-party service providers, including AI and infrastructure providers, subject to our contractual and privacy obligations.

4. AI evaluation and limitations

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Hourze, including your:

  • projects

  • responses

  • submissions

  • work samples

  • proof records
